One-Year OSSD Pathway: Who Qualifies and How It Works

The One-Year OSSD Pathway is designed for students who have already completed a significant portion of their high school education but want to graduate with a Canadian diploma — fast. This accelerated program is open to students aged 16 to 21, especially those in their final year or who have completed Grade 11 or equivalent. After a short placement process, students take 6–8 online courses over the span of 10 to 12 months. All courses are taught by Ontario-certified teachers and meet Ministry of Education standards. Graduates receive the same diploma as local Canadian students and apply to universities through the OUAC system under “102 code,” which qualifies them for local tuition and domestic scholarships.
